CAPTAIN
A Blue Moon Captain is the leader who guides the ship. They keep everything running smoothly so your guests and you can relax and enjoy the event. Upon arrival they will meet with you to get all the information about your food and beverage service and timelines. Once the staff arrive, they will organize and get the ball rolling for setting up service. From arranging furniture floor plans to setting tables, buffets, beverage and or bars they will direct Blue Moon staff to get your event ready for your guests. While working the event they will oversee food and beverage service from beginning to end. Paying attention to every detail and directing the crew to keep things on time and on task. Once the event is over, they will direct our Blue Moon staff to get things cleaned up and put away. They are experienced working with all Rental Companies to ensure things are ready for pick-up if needed. They will conduct a final walk-thru with you to assure everything is ship-shape before signing out the Blue Moon team.
TEAM LEAD
A Blue Moon Team Lead is an essential part of your event. Taking charge of the service staff in select groups. They will work side by side w Blue Moon Staff through-out the event. Managing staff to give timely warm hospitable service to your guests. Leading staff from set-up thru beverage and food service. They are vital to coordinating the team to see that protocols are followed to give an exceptional experience. Leads are warm and personable and the backbone of the service teams. Winding the event down and making sure that all closing duties are executed before the staff are dismissed.
SERVER
A Blue Moon Server is trained in all aspects of hospitality service. They have a thorough working knowledge of the food and beverage industry. Attentive and responsive, our staff are trained in the art of passing cocktails and appetizers to an intimate group or large party gathering. Equally versed in the proper etiquette of serving multi course meals in any setting. When desired the offering and parring of fine wines with each course is done with ease. Ending a great meal with tableside coffee service is the finale to a great evening. Blue Moon servers are always elegant and polished yet personable and attentive. We take pride in everything we do and always have a welcoming attitude.
BARTENDER
Blue Moon Bartenders are the ambassadors for any great event. Always ready with an inviting cocktail or a suggestion for a wine or beer to compliment the cuisine of the evening. A blend of professionalism and personality they strive to ensure every drink is crafted to perfection. They possess a well-rounded knowledge of alcohol parings and are skilled at table side wine service. They are vital in supporting the rest of the Blue Moon team at every turn. Keeping the Party on time, from setting up the entire bar to giving last call Blue Moon Bartenders will maintain the inventory, glassware, supplies and close at events end.
KITCHEN PREP
Blue Moon Kitchen Prep is the backbone of ensuring the event cuisine is the star of the show. Everything starts with well-prepared ingredients. From chopping, dicing and slicing, creating the sauce or par cooking, it’s the prep staff job to get things organized and ready for the Chef. Certified in the Culinary Industry Blue Moon Prep are skilled in all areas of the kitchen. Knowledgeable in food handling and presentation they are vital to the execution of a well-planned menu.
DISHWASHER
Blue Moon Dishwashers are essential to the kitchen’s efficiency and cleanliness. Ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cookware are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Priding themselves on paying attention to details and handling things to ensure no damages occur to equipment. They are a vital team member who supports the entire kitchen and event by keeping things running smoothly and hygienically. Keeping rentals organized and ready for pick-up after the event ends. Always making sure the last trash gets taken to the receptacle before checking out at events
